Kids on the Virtual Stage 2022
Kids on the Virtual Stage 2022
For the 2022 edition of Kids on Stage, The New York Pops invited the 22 participating middle school students to perform in two fully produced music videos following their appearance with the orchestra on stage at Carnegie Hall!
"Soul Bossa Nova"
"Heaven's Light" by Steven Reineke
After participating in rehearsals throughout the program, the five inaugural conducting apprentices lead their fellow students, as well as musicians from The New York Pops, in a virtual performance of Steven Reineke's composition, "Heaven's Light."
Thank you to Nathan Blackwell - Squishy Studios for video editing and Brian Losch for sound engineering.
