This year, we are excited to welcome Matt Doyle and Max Clayton as our featured performers! Max was most recently seen on Broadway in Chicago, and Matt is a Tony Award winner for his performance in the revival of Company. This event is a rare opportunity to see Max and Matt share the stage as they sing songs from their illustrious careers including material from Company, Crazy For You, The Music Man, and Spring Awakening.
Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke will serve as host, and guests will enjoy a three-course meal with wine pairings. We will also once again be joined by The PopsEd Alumni Ensemble for a special opening act performance.
Proceeds from The New York Pops Underground cabaret fundraiser support our PopsEd programs, which provide music education, arts access, and performance opportunities for New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds.

PopsEd programs include:
- Kids on Stage provides individualized instruction, mentorship, and performance opportunities, including playing alongside The New York Pops orchestra at its annual gala, to a diverse group of middle school musicians.
- Kids in the Balcony introduces the orchestra to the next generation of music lovers by providing free tickets and pre-concert lessons to public school students.
- In-school residencies invest in children’s knowledge of a variety of musical genres through choral and instrumental programs and introduces American music history and the orchestra to students who may not otherwise be exposed to them.
