The New York Pops returns to Queens Public Library, Richmond Hill with our Latin jazz combo, led by Javier Diaz, a percussionist in the orchestra. A specialist in Afro-Cuban percussion, Diaz has appeared with world renowned artists including Sean Kingston, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, and more. This family-friendly event will feature beloved Latin Jazz classics, contemporary favorites, and original music performed by some of New York City’s finest musicians. Join us for an afternoon of rhythmic and spirited tunes!
