Hearkening back to the tradition of hosts like Ed Sullivan who introduced new talent to a wider audience, Steven Reineke and The New York Pops bring this dynamic new series to life with two incredible vocalists making their debuts with The New York Pops: Marisha Wallace (Cabaret) and Jimmie Herrod (America’s Got Talent).

Photo of Jimmie Herrod.Jimmie Herrod is a vocalist, arranger, and composer from Tacoma, Washington living in Portland, Oregon.  Jimmie rose to worldwide acclaim on NBC’s America’s Got Talent after receiving the coveted “Golden Buzzer” and ending the competition as a finalist.  After his time on television, Jimmie starred in the Las Vegas show America’s Got Talent – Live at Luxor, and competed once more on the spin off series, America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.  Jimmie has been seen and heard on Oregon Public Broadcasting; All Classical Portland; as a featured soloist on PBS, including the globally televised Joni Mitchell Songbook concert at The Kennedy Center; tours internationally as an all-star featured vocalist with the renowned musical collective Pink Martini, and is regularly featured with major symphonies across the US including the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, San Francisco Symphony, The Cleveland Orchestra, Houston Symphony and Oregon Symphony, to name a few.  Jimmie has released two EPs – his debut “Falling in Love and Learning” and 2022’s “Elated,” and just released his new full album of Stephen Sondheim songs entitled “Pretty Is What Changes.”  Jimmie continues to headline concerts in venues across America in addition to appearances in Paris, France and other major cities around the world.

 

 

 

Photo of Marisha Wallace.Marisha Wallace’s electrifying portrayal of Sally Bowles in the London and Broadway productions of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club has garnered widespread critical acclaim, with many critics declaring it her career-defining role. She previously starred as Miss Adelaide in the smash-hit revival of Guys and Dolls, earning an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. She also received critical acclaim and an Olivier nomination for her performance as Ado Annie in the groundbreaking production of Oklahoma! at the Young Vic. Her extensive stage credits include performing for His Majesty the King, starring as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray at the London Coliseum, originating the role of Becky in the West End production of Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre, and making her West End debut as Effie White in Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre. She also lit up the stage in the iconic Palladium Pantomime, bringing her signature charisma to the beloved holiday tradition. 

 In 2025, Marisha headlined her biggest solo concert to date at the Adelphi Theatre, with a live album: Marisha Wallace: Live in London, featuring her most beloved stage hits that is available now and headlined her first solo shows at Café Carlyle in NYC. A fan favorite on the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother, her powerhouse voice and magnetic presence have cemented her as an international star of music, theatre, and television.
