Denée Benton and Jordan Donica, co-stars in HBO’s hit show The Gilded Age, join The New York Pops for a new program highlighting favorites from their careers and the Great American Songbook.

About the artists
Denée Benton is a Critics Choice and Tony Award-nominated actress known for her dynamic performances across screen and stage.
She currently stars as Peggy Scott in HBO’s Emmy- and SAG-nominated series The Gilded Age and will return for its fourth season. Her recent film work includes Dreams in Nightmares, which premiered at Berlinale 2025, and Tender Thoughts, which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.
This fall, she was seen as Thaisa in The Public Theater’s Public Works musical concert adaptation of Shakespeare’s Pericles, directed by Carl Cofield with music and lyrics by Troy Anthony. She has also appeared in Richard Curtis’ Genie on Peacock, Our Friend alongside Dakota Johnson and Casey Affleck (which debuted at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival) and in Lifetime’s cult classic UnREAL.
Benton made her Broadway debut as Natasha in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, earning nominations for the Tony, Drama League, Theatre World, and Lilly Awards, as well as a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30. Her stage credits also include Eliza in Hamilton, Nabulungi in The Book of Mormon, Susan in tick, tick…BOOM!, and Cinderella in the acclaimed revival of Into the Woods.
A proud graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Benton continues to captivate audiences with her exceptional range, magnetic stage presence, and dedication to her craft.

Jordan Donica is a Tony-nominated American actor, singer, writer, and director celebrated for his dynamic artistry across Broadway and television. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University. Donica made his Broadway debut as Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera and subsequently starred as Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady and Sir Lancelot in Camelot, earning him a 2023 Tony Award nomination for the latter. His acclaimed theater work includes the dual role of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the first national tour of Hamilton. He starred as Max von Mayerling in the Tony-winning revival of Sunset Boulevard on Broadway and continues to captivate audiences as Dr. William Kirkland in HBO’s The Gilded Age. His television credits include Jordan Chase in the CW’s Charmed.
