29th Birthday Gala

The New York Pops 29th Birthday Gala was an evening to celebrate! The April 30 gala, entitled "Journey On," celebrated the music of Ahrens & Flaherty with a star-studded performance at Carnegie Hall. The concert was conducted by Music Director Steven Reineke and hosted by Terrence McNally. Performers included Liz Callaway, Kevin Chamberlin, LaChanze, Jason Danieley, Boyd Gaines, Lewis Grosso, Brian d'Arcy James, Nikki M. James, Norm Lewis, Kecia Lewis-Evans, Darlene Love, Rebecca Luker, Marin Mazzie, Tiler Peck, Andrew Rannells, Rachel York and Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. The concert also featured children from the Camp Broadway Kids, the Ronald McDonald House, and Salute to Music, The New York Pops' free music lesson program.
